online WOrship

During this time of transition will continue to post our worship service online. This will allow for those who are not able to gather with us to continue to participate. We do not want anyone to feel pressured to return at this time if you feel uncomfortable doing so or if you have a compromised immune system or are at high risk. This service will be recorded on Thursday evening and posted by 3:00 pm on Saturday.

You will find the attendance card just below the video. We ask that you fill it out to help us see who is joining us. Below the attendance card is a place where you can give electronically. We hope that you respond to the call to worship, sing during the songs, and read your Bibles during the reading. We have also provided an archive of the other online services at the bottom of this page.

There are three primary enemies of the soul. Just as God is Holy, Holy, Holy – and exists as three persons in the Trinity, there is an un-holy threesome. A godless trinity. In Ephesians 2, Paul states: "You were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once lived, following the course of this world, following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work among those who are disobedient. All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of flesh and senses..." The world, the flesh, and the devil. These three enemies of the soul: sources of temptation. Are we left without hope? Can we overcome? Are we in such spiritual slumber at times we don’t even recognize when we are being tempted? We will be looking at what it means to live faithfully as a Christian amidst these temptations. Our prayer at Hebron is that we wake up to the impact of our choices, decisions, lifestyle, and worldview – as we resist temptation and submit to Christ alone.

What does the Bible say about temptations that arise within our own hearts, minds, and souls? Where do those temptations come from? What is their purpose? What is the outcome of resisting temptation? In this sermon series, we will be looking at practical ways to turn temptations into triumphs. We will learn this—and be transformed—to the praise of His glorious grace and for His name’s sake.

In addition to our online services, our current in-person service times are:

Thursday, 7:00 pm – Barclay Building

Sunday, 9:30 am – Barclay Building
